February – Alternate Realities
Hello, and welcome to the February challenge!
This challenge is all about how unreal worlds filter through our consciousness and how they relate to the actual world around us and our dreams and fantasies; How both worlds relate to and depend upon each other. As in, fantasy world in which we envision the realization of our dreams and goals are by and large defined by the, perhaps drab, reality of the lives we lead. So no dreamed up Alternate Realities can exist without an already established Reality with which we can compare.
Another interpretation of the theme may be the illustration of how the decisions we make from day to day lead us down different paths and may drastically alter our lives. Perhaps regret of making the decisions that led us to where we are today, and imagination of how life might have been have we chosen to act differently.
This is a theme that definitely holds many different possibilities, so use your imagination.
And remember, the greatest joy in life is creating.
